Have you tried SAVE DSK1.FILE ?
Note, the devicename needs to be UPPERCASE. Newbies generally type it in lowercase as a common mistake (many times seen save cs1, instead of save CS1 - "save" can be lowercase)
Then OLD DSK1.FILE will retrieve it.
