I finally had a chance to sit down and try it this weekend myself- same problem. I just emailed the author about it. I'd directed him to the board a couple of days ago, but I'm not sure if he's been checking. Seems like a nice guy and I'd mentioned that I was going to post his email and he didn't object. I don't see why you shouldn't contact him- I suppose the more feedback (and interest)he gets, the better.
