: : MESS as far as I've been able to determine, will read from a disk, but not write to it.
: : : Here's one for the MESS TI emulator users... Does it have disk support, and if so, how do you use it? I get an I/O error 66 when I attempt to save a BASIC program to disk.
: Error 66 means you need to initialize the disk (preferably with Disk Manager). I have been able to successfully read/write disk images in both BASIC and Extended BASIC, but keep in mind that the DOAD images are PC99 format, not V9T9. (I respect the driver author's poor decision of disk formats. ;)
Poor decision? PC99 format emulates the entire disk, allowing track copiers, etc. V9T9 is only sector dumps.
