okay, okay, let's be positive. I do not criticize AMI99, I'm pretty sure you did a very good job on it. I'm sorry if I sounded unfair (never meant to be so) and I admire you for sharing your hard work with everyone for free, just for feedback.
For this, you deserve some feedback.
The fact is I can't get it to work on my system, but this may be because my Windows 98 is a french localized one. My hardware is SBlaster Live sound, NVidia RIVA TNT graphics, Abit BH6 motherboard and maybe my french DirectX6.1 DLLs are not compatible with your project. Anyway, when I start Ami99 (the last version, and the only one I ever tried, admitedly) it displays an error message which says (translated in english) : Ami99 performed an invalid instruction in module
Not very clear, huh ?
Nevermind, I can GUARANTEE that you'll get feedback if you can develop a cool utility for getting back our old cassette tapes on whatever emulator there is for the TI.
MESS is great, your AMI99 must be great too, but I just can't see that on my own. Anyway, I trust you when you say it works on all win32s, and that sounds neat !
BUT what we all want to do is to work on our old cassette tapes, not ONLY seeing those standard modules run again ;o)
Hope you understand what I mean : our TI99 user nostalgia makes us want personal stuff too, not only commercial stuff (modules and the likes).
