In Reply to: How do I convert TI disks to V9T9 format without a TI99? posted by Mike on July 31, 1998 at 11:30:58:
: I have some games I wrote in Extended Basic for the TI99/4a. I have downloaded V9T9. I do not have my TI99/4a available. Is there a way to convert the TI disk into V9T9 format using just the PC drive?
I have done that. You need a PC with a 5.25 inch drive and a disk controller that works in single density (many AT types do). You need a program called Anadisk from Sybex. It can read the TI disk and make an MS-DOS file. I wrote a program in GWBASIC that converts that file into a V9T9 disk image file. It worked fine as long as the TI disk was formatted with Disk Manager II. Disks formatted by Disk Manager 1000 couldn't be read in the PC.
