: Have you tried an older driver for your Soundblaster? In Windows I'm using the "Creative Soundblaster 16 or AWE-32" dated 12-10-97 but (for some reaseon) before I recently upgraded my PC I had to use an old CT-VOICE.DRV (DOS mode) driver dated 1993. Might this help? If you need a copy, I can email one to you.
Are you saying that this driver is giving you good sound, I presume?
